Rolling Out Starlink Maritime

Offshore Unlimited has completed rollout across the fleet of Starlink Maritime. It has provided high-speed, up to 250mbs, broadband internet to our vessels while at sea. Enhancing our crew and client’s ability to undertake work online and communicate like they were in their home or office.  Just as importantly it has allowed our crew to access the internet in their down time providing better connectivity to family, friends, and entertainment, enhancing their morale and reducing loneliness.

Having Starlink has decreased the cost of providing internet connection at sea and is flexible enough for us to monitor data usage and manage the appropriate data plans from a single portal in Head Office. Starlink implements end-to-end encryption to protect data and confidentiality of user traffic.

It’s not a big surprise that we have noticed data usage peaks when the AFL is on!!
